Our mission is rooted in our unwavering dedication to the visual arts, in every facet.

Minnesota Street Project Foundation operates on the belief that philanthropic support for the arts today requires an alternative model. Established in 2019, the Minnesota Street Project Foundation strengthens the health and vitality of the artistic ecosystem of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are dedicated to providing intentional investment over time through space and infrastructure. 

The Foundation takes an entrepreneurial approach to grant-making and support of the arts with long and short term commitments.

Located in San Francisco’s Dogpatch district, Minnesota Street Project Foundation is part of the contemporary art campus that is home to Minnesota Street Project, a for-profit enterprise that includes over a dozen art galleries, art non-profits, the acclaimed Besharam restaurant, and the affiliated Minnesota Street Project Art Services. 100% of Art Services’ profits are used to support the artists, galleries, and institutions that comprise the Project and the Foundation.
