How is Minnesota Street Project Foundation related to Minnesota Street Project?

Minnesota Street Project Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with Minnesota Street Project. The Foundation operates as a catalyst for expanding the Project’s mission. The Project offers economically sustainable spaces for art galleries, artists, and related nonprofits. Inhabiting three warehouses in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood, the Project seeks to retain and strengthen the Bay Area’s contemporary art community in the short term while developing an internationally recognized arts destination in the long term. The galleries at 1275 Minnesota St. and 1150 25th St. are free and open to the public during regular business hours. The Artist Studio Program at 1240 Minnesota St. is not open to the public. The Art Services business provides art handling and collection management services to collectors, galleries, and institutions—facility tours available by appointment only.

Does Minnesota Street Project Foundation accept proposals for exhibitions and events?

The Foundation invites artists, curators, and thinkers with varied perspectives to produce site-specific experiences of dance, music, food, art, and conversation at the Project. Is there space available to rent?

Yes, space is available in 1275 Minnesota St. to rent on a short-term basis among Minnesota Street Project’s permanent galleries. There is a climate-controlled gallery for museum shows, public art in the atrium, pop-ups, speaker programs, and more—all under a trussed ceiling with skylights and full southern exposure.
